Sweet Potato Pie 1 Recipe

• 1 sweet potato
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 9-inch premade pie crust
• 1 large pot of water

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Bring pot of water to a boil and add sweet potato. Boil for 45 minutes or unti soft.
3. Place sweet potato in cool water and peel off skin.
4. Slice sweet potato into small pieces in a large bowl. Mix in softened butter.
5. Add milk, sugar, eggs, and seasonings and beat until smooth.
6. Pour into pie crust.
7. Bake for 1 hour.
8. Pie will rise and fall as it cools.
