Ingredients for Squabs With Green Peas
- 4 squabs
- 4 cups green peas, shelled
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Seasonings to taste
Instructions
- Roast the squabs in hot oven for about 10 minutes.
- Remove squabs from oven.
- Put squabs, peas, onions, water, butter and seasonings in a kettle.
- Cover.
- Let cook slowly for about 40 minutes.
- Then serve.
