Ingredients for Spaghetti Italian With Sausages Recipe 1

  1. 1 pound spaghetti
  2. 1 can tomatoes
  3. 2 cloves garlic
  4. 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  5. 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  6. 1 tablespoon corn starch
  7. Salt and pepper to taste
  8. Prepare according to the recipe for Spaghetti Italian, adding to the sauce one-half cup cooked sausage meat.

Instructions

  1. Put the spaghetti on to cook in plenty of boiling salted water.
  2. Allow thirty minutes.
  3. In the meantime, cut the garlic in bits, fry in the vegetable oil until golden, add the tomato and corn syrup and cook until the spaghetti is done, then rub the sauce through a sieve, thicken with the cornstarch blended with one tablespoon cold water and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Put the spaghetti in a flat bowl or on a deep platter, pour the sauce over, and serve with grated Parmesan or Romano cheese.
