Ingredients for Sauce For Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 cup of sugar
- ¼ cup of boiling water
- 1/3 cup of claret or½ cup of strawberry or raspberry pulp
Instructions
- Cook the sugar and water to a thick syrup.
- It will take about eight or nine minutes.
- Cool and add the wine or strained fruit.
- Serve in cups, pouring the sauce over or around the ice.
- Sprinkle the top with fine-chopped pistachio nuts.
