Sally Lunn Recipe 2

• 1/4 cup cornstarch
• 2 cups bread flour
• 3 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup corn syrup
• 2 eggs
• 7/8 cup milk
• 1/4 cup corn oil

1. Stir the dry ingredients together and stir in the milk, eggs, corn syrup, and corn oil.
2. Beat until bubbly, pour into a good-sized shallow pan oiled with corn oil. # Bake twenty-five minutes in a moderate oven, 350 to 375 degrees F.
3. Cut in squares and serve warm.
