Recipe for Hamburger Soup

• 1.5 lbs. ground hamburger
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/4 tsp. each pepper, oregano, and basil
• 1 pkg. onion soup mix
• 6 cups water
• 2 beef bouillon cubes
• 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
• 1/2 cup chopped celery
• 1 cup chopped carrots
• 1 cup cubed potatoes

1. In a large pot, combine all ingredients, except hamburger.
2. Bring to a boil; once boiling, reduce to simmer.
3. Brown hamburger meat and drain.
4. Add hamburger to soup and cook until heated through and vegetables are tender but firm.
