Ingredients for Quick Graham Bread Recipe 1

  • 2 cups white flour
  • 2½ cups graham flour
  • 5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons shortening, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1½ cups milk and water mixed
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons molasses

Instructions

  1. Sift together white flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Mix in the graham flour and shortening.
  3. Add the beaten egg, then the molasses, milk, and water.
  4. Beat well together.
  5. Put in well greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes at 350 degrees.
