Ingredients for Plain Taffy

  • 2 cups of white sugar
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar

Instructions

  1. Piece of butter the size of an egg.
  2. Flavor with vanilla just before pouring out.
  3. Boil without stirring until crisp when tried in water.
  4. When cool enough to handle pull with your finger-tips until white.
  5. The longer the taffy is pulled the better it will be.
