Pineapple Ice Cream Sandwich Recipe 1

Instructions
- Serve Vanilla Mousse between slices of Yellow cake.
- Cover with Crushed pineapple.
- Vanilla Mousse: Beat 1-1/2 cups cream until light and beat in gradually 1/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons corn syrup, 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla and Few grains salt.
- Put in refrigerator pan and freeze.
- Basic cake recipe: 1/3 cup butter or shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1-3/4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Cream the butter or butter substitute, add sugar and continue creaming.
- Add well beaten eggs.
- Mix and sift the dry ingredients and add alternatively with the milk.
- Add flavoring.
- Bake in layers at 380 degrees for twenty minutes.
- Any good filling and frosting may be used.
- The batter may be varied by adding nuts, coconut, spices, etc., and may be baked as a loaf cake.
