Instructions

After making your Orange Jelly Recipe 1, try adding blood oranges, which are very juicy and make a pretty colored jelly.

  1. Remove the sections of peeled oranges, eliminating all traces of membrane.
  2. Set these, lengthwise, into individual molds (some molds are well adapted to this purpose). Gradually fill the molds with the fruit mixture.
  3. When set and cold, remove from the molds and serve.
  4. The filling of the molds may be expedited if the molds are set in a pan of water and crushed ice.
  5. Then put in a tablespoon of the mixture. When this hardens, the sections of orange will be held in place and the molds can be half filled and then completely filled.
