Ingredients for Nut And Raisin Tea Cakes Recipe

  • 1/4 cup corn oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1-1/3 cups bread flour
  • 2-1/2 tablespoons Argo or Kingsfords Cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/3 cup chopped raisins and nuts
  • Desiccated coconut

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and heat until bubbly.
  2. Transfer to cup cake pans lightly rubbed with corn oil, sprinkle with desiccated coconut and bake in a moderately hot oven, 350 to 375 degrees Funtil done - about 25 minutes.
  3. Cover with Plain Confectioners Icing.
