Ingredients for Nut And Raisin Tea Cakes Recipe
- 1/4 cup corn oil
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1-1/3 cups bread flour
- 2-1/2 tablespoons Argo or Kingsfords Cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/3 cup chopped raisins and nuts
- Desiccated coconut
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl and heat until bubbly.
- Transfer to cup cake pans lightly rubbed with corn oil, sprinkle with desiccated coconut and bake in a moderately hot oven, 350 to 375 degrees Funtil done - about 25 minutes.
- Cover with Plain Confectioners Icing.
