Instructions
- Cook a cup of cream and two cups of powdered sugar (pulverized), stirring gently to avoid scorching, until the mixture begins to boil.
- Now add one-quarter pound of chocolate, stirring, as needed, until all is melted.
- The mixture should boil for perhaps ten minutes, a drop being tried in cold water until soft ball stage is reached.
- Add an inch and a half cube of butter, and stir until well mixed.
- Take the fudge from the flame, and beat briskly for five or ten minutes, then pour it in a buttered fudge pan containing a half pound of cut-up marshmallows and a quarter pound of chopped pecan meats scattered through.
