Macaroni Croquettes Recipe 2

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until tender; drain, cool and cut fine.
  2. Make a thick sauce of two tablespoons of butter and four tablespoons of flour and a cup of milk, add one cup of macaroni, a heaping tablespoon of grated cheese, the beaten yolks of two eggs and salt and pepper to season.
  3. Cool, shape, egg and crumb and fry in deep fat.
  4. Serve with tomato sauce.
  5. Italian Croquettes
