Ingredients for Lemon Whip Recipe
- Juice of 4 lemons
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 box of gelatin dissolved in 1/2 cup of water
- whites of 4 eggs
- 1/4 pound candied cherries
- 1 pint of boiling water
Instructions
- Mix water, juice, sugar, and dissolved gelatine together; set on ice to cool.
- When beginning to harden add the whites of the eggs beaten to a stiff froth, and whip together thoroughly.
- Line mould with the cherries, and fill with mixture.
