Lemon Cream Recipe 1

Instructions
- Make a custard with one pint of thick sweet cream, the well-beaten yolks of three eggs, four tablespoons of sugar, and the thin yellow rind of a lemon.
- Remove from the fire, and stir until cold, or nearly so.
- Put the juice of a lemon in a glass dish, pour the cream upon it, and stir thoroughly.
- Serve very cold with delicate cake.
