Ingredients for Lamb With Barley And Cabbage
- 2½ pounds lamb, breast or shoulder, cut in large pieces
- 1 onion, peeled, sliced
- 2 cups barley, washed
- 1 cabbage, washed, quartered
- Seasonings to taste
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a kettle.
- Cover with water to 2 inches above top of food materials.
- Place cover on kettle.
- Cook very slowly for 50 minutes.
- Then serve.
