Ingredients for Hominy With Ham

  • 2 cups hominy
  • 5 cups water, boiling
  • 1 cup milk, scalded
  • 1 pound ham, raw, cut in small dice
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Add the milk to the boiling water and pour over the hominy, mixing well.
  2. Add the ham and seasonings.
  3. Let cook slowly in a sauce pan for about 35 minutes.
  4. Drain off excess water or fat before serving.
