Hamburger Casserole Taco Recipe

• 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
• 1/2 cup diced onion
• 1 package taco seasoning
• 1 can light red kidney beans
• 8 oz. tomato sauce
• 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 cup tortilla chips, broken into small pieces

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Brown beef with onion.
3. Stir in taco seasoning, sauce, and beans.
4. Bring to a boil while stirring.
5. Place a thin layer of tortilla chips in bottom of large casserole dish.
6. Top with ground beef mixture and another layer of chips.
7. Sprinkle cheese over top of chips.
8. Bake for 20 minutes.
