Ingredients for Grouse With Sour Cream And Raisins
- 2 grouse
- ½ cup raisins
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Seasonings to taste
Instructions
- Put grouse in a roasting pan with the butter, cream and seasonings.
- Boil the raisins in water for 2 minutes.
- Drain off water.
- Put raisins in the roasting pan with the grouse.
- Place roasting pan in oven and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes.
- If, in the process of baking, the cream becomes too thick, add some boiling water.
- Baste the grouse often with the cream.
