Grilled Chicken Wings with Lemon and Garlic

This is a great time of the year to party outside. Once you get your grill going good and hot, all you need is this recipe for chicken wings to really get the party going.

Ingredients

  • 16 chicken wings
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 garlic cloves, mashed
  • 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic.
  2. Wash the chicken wings, dry them, and then add them to the marinade tossing to coat.
  3. Place in the refrigerator for at least one hour, covered.
  4. Brush your grill with oil to prevent the wings from sticking.
  5. Grill them for 3-4 minutes and then turn them over and grill for another 3-4 minutes until done.
  6. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Mushrooms In Garlic Sauce

  • 1 1/2 pounds of button mushrooms, washed, and cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and the red pepper flakes.
  3. Wait 30 seconds and then add the mushrooms.
  4. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for 4 minutes and add the wine.
  6. Cook for five minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Taste for salt and pepper.
  8. Add the lemon juice and parsley.
  9. Serve warm.
