Ingredients for French Toast Sticks
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 slices bread, each cut, lengthwise, into 4 pieces
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Maple syrup, optional
Instructions
- Beat eggs. Stir in vanilla and milk, mixing until well combined.
- Heat butter in a skillet over low heat until melted.
- Dip bread slices in egg mixture, coating both sides well.
- Cook the bread until desired browness.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar to taste.
- If desired, serve with syrup.
