French Onion Dip Recipe

• 1 1/4 cups sour cream
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 1 tablespoon chopped green onion
• 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
• Salt and pepper to taste

1. In a serving dish, mix together the sour cream, mayo, and soup mix until evenly distributed.
2. Add the salt and pepper to taste.
3. Cover and refrigerate for one hour before serving.
4. Just before serving, sprinkly the green onion on top.
5. Note: non-fat and low-fat varieties of the mayo and sour cream may be used.
