Ingredients for Custard Pie Recipe 5
- 2 cups milk, scalded
- 1 teaspoon flavoring extract - vanilla or other flavor as desired
- ¾ cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Beat the eggs slightly, and add the salt and sugar.
- Pour into the mixture slowly the scalded milk, and add the flavoring.
- Line pie plate with pie crust.
- Pour in the custard mixture.
- Bake in slow oven (250-300 degrees) for about 30 minutes.
