Ingredients for Coffee Jelly Recipe 1

  • 1-2 cups coffee
  • 1/2 tablespoon granulated gelatine
  • 4-5 tablespoons cold water
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. In making the coffee for breakfast, make one or two extra cups. Strain all the coffee from the grounds when pouring the coffee at table.
  2. Let it settle, then pour off and use the top of the coffee.
  3. For 2 small cups (half a pint) of jelly, put gelatine into cold water and allow to stand for 15 minutes.
  4. Add sugar and hot coffee. Stir over heat until the gelatine and sugar are dissolved, then strain into cups.
  5. Serve with cream or a boiled custard.
