Ingredients for Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

  • 2 1/2 cups wide egg noodles
  • 12 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 cups diced, cooked chicken meat

Instructions

  1. Fill a pot with water and prepare the noodles according to package directions.
  2. Combine chicken broth and seasonings in a pan and bring to a boil.
  3. Add vegetables and reduce to a simmer.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch and water. Stir together until dissolved.
  5. Slowly drop the cornstarch mixture into the broth in spoonfuls.
  6. Add chicken and noodles and warm throw.
  7. Serve immediately with crackers or bread for dipping.
