Ingredients for Chestnuts And Tomatoes
- 2 pounds chestnuts
- 4 tomatoes, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Seasonings to taste
Instructions
- Boil the chestnuts in water for about 40 minutes.
- Remove from water.
- Remove shells and brown skin.
- Put tomatoes, butter and seasonings in a stew pan.
- Cover.
- Let cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the chestnuts and let cook very slowly for about 20 minutes.
- Then serve.
