Ingredients for Chestnut Flour Soup Recipe

  • 1 quart of milk
  • 4 ounces of prepared chestnut flour
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tablespoons cream

Instructions

  1. Boil the milk with the onion in a double saucepan for one hour.
  2. Mix the chestnut flour to a smooth paste with the cold milk, and add it to the boiling milk.
  3. Let it simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the onion and add the cream.
  5. Heat additional time just to allow the cream to warm.
  6. Serve.
