Ingredients for Cheese And Cornmeal Pudding

  • 1 quart boiling water
  • ½ pound cornmeal
  • ½ cup milk, scalded
  • ½ pound American cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Instructions

  1. Boil the water with the salt.
  2. Pour in cornmeal slowly, stirring constantly.
  3. Allow to boil 10 minutes.
  4. Add the cheese and continue to cook for 10 minutes, until the cheese is entirely melted.
  5. Add the milk.
  6. Pour into buttered baking dish and brown in the oven.
