Ingredients for Cheese And Cornmeal Pudding
- 1 quart boiling water
- ½ pound cornmeal
- ½ cup milk, scalded
- ½ pound American cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon salt
Instructions
- Boil the water with the salt.
- Pour in cornmeal slowly, stirring constantly.
- Allow to boil 10 minutes.
- Add the cheese and continue to cook for 10 minutes, until the cheese is entirely melted.
- Add the milk.
- Pour into buttered baking dish and brown in the oven.
