- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, washed, chopped
- ¼ pound mushrooms, washed, sliced
- 2 cups water
- 3 cups milk, scalded
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Seasonings to taste

- Put all ingredients in a stew pan.
- Cover.
- Let them cook for about 20 minutes.
