Ingredients for Brussels Sprout And Lima Bean Soup Recipe
- 1 cup lima beans, shelled
- ½ pound Brussels sprouts, washed, picked
- 7 cups water
- 1 cup milk, scalded
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Seasonings to taste
Instructions
- Put all ingredients, except the milk, in a kettle.
- Cover.
- Let cook for about 40 minutes.
- Pass through a sieve.
- Put back in kettle, add the milk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Then serve.
