Ingredients for Barbecued Salmon Recipe

  • 3-4 4-6 ounce salmon steaks or fillets
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 tablespoons salad oil or olive oil
  • Dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients to a sealable container.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Baste salmon with sauce and let sit for 1/2 hour.
  4. Spray a rack and shallow pan with non-stick spray.
  5. Place salmon steaks or fillets on the rack, skin side down, and the rack in the pan.
  6. Broil or grill for 7-10 minutes or until you salmon flakes easily with a fork. Avoid overcooking.
