Ingredients for Apple Cream Pie Recipe
- 2 pie crust
- About 8 apples
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons flour
- Rich cream
Instructions
- Line a pie tin with crust, building up a scalloped edge.
- Fill crust with pared, quartered, and cored apples, arranging a row around the plate at the edge then working toward the center until the crust is covered.
- Arrange a few more apple quarters on top of the layer.
- Mix together the flour and sugar. Sprinkle the mixture over the apples.
- Cover with rich cream and bake until the apples are tender.
