Ingredients for Wheat Puff Recipe
- 1 cup sifted white flour
- 1/3 cup entire wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons melted vegetable butter
- 1 egg, separated
- 1 cup milk

Instructions
- Put milk, egg yolk, salt, and butter into a bowl and mix well.
- Add the flour and use a spoon to mix smooth. Do not beat the batter since or the puffs will blow out in the top.
- Beat the egg white until it is stiff and fold it in the batter with a few long strokes. Avoid breaking down the lightness of the egg.
- Using a large spoon, drop the batter into hot, oiled iron gem pans and bake until brown on medium heat.
