Ingredients for Water Ices And Frappés - Orange Frappé Recipe

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons white corn syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • A yellow rind from an orange
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • A few grains of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and orange rind in a saucepan.
  2. Boil 2 minutes then cool.
  3. Add orange juice, lemon juice, and salt.
  4. Strain into refrigerator pan and freeze.
  5. It should be ready to serve in about three hours.
  6. Other fruit juice may be used in place of orange juice, including grape, loganberry, raspberry, or strawberry juices.
