Ingredients for Waffles Recipe 3

• 1 1/2 cups pastry flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon soda, add slowly
• 1 1/4 cups sour or rich sour milk or a mixture of the two
• 3 egg yolks, well beaten

Instructions

1. Sift together the pastry flour, salt, sugar, and slowly add soda.
2. Ass sour cream or substitute and egg yolks, well beaten.
3. Use 1 large spoonful of mixture for each waffle.
4. Cook on hot waffle iron.
5. An aluminum electric waffle iron should not be greased.
6. An iron one should be well greased.
