Ingredients for Veal Tongue With Dandelions

  • 3 veal tongues, cut in halves
  • 2½ pounds dandelions, washed, cleaned
  • 1 onion, peeled, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cups water
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a kettle.
  2. Cover.
  3. Let cook for 35 minutes.
  4. Before serving, remove tough skin from the tongues.
