Ingredients for Vanilla Ice Cream, No. 3 Recipe

• 1 pint milk
• 1 pint cream
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 teaspoon flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions

1. Scald the milk, then stir the sugar, flour, and salt into it.
2. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring constantly.
3. Pour boiling hot on the beaten eggs and strain.
4. Add cream and flavoring and freeze as usual.
