Ingredients for Vanilla Custard Recipe
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. skim milk, scalded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Beat the eggs and stir in the sugar, salt, and vanilla. Mix until well incorporated.
- Add in the milk and stir well.
- Pour into small custard bowls and stand bowls in a pan of hot water.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove from oven let chill in refrigerator for several hours before serving.
