Vanilla Caramels Recipe 2

Ingredients for Vanilla Caramels

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Put sugar and cream to boil, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
  2. Continue to cook to 240 degrees F.
  3. Add vanilla.
  4. Cook again to 248 degrees F.
  5. Pour into oiled tin.
  6. When cool, mark with a knife slightly oiled.
  7. Then cut in squares.
