Alice J. Wisler was born and raised in Osaka, Japan. Her novel Rain Song, to be published in Fall 2008 by Bethany House Publishers, has connections with Japan as well as life in North Carolina. Her next novel is due out in 2009. Alice also gives Writing the Heartache workshops for those who want to use writing as an essential tool, particularly in bereavement.
