Ingredients for Turnips In Cream

• 8 turnips
• 2 cups milk
• 4 tablespoons flour
• 4 tablespoons butter or other fat
• Salt and pepper

Instructions

1. Pare the turnips, cut them in small pieces, cook until tender.
2. Make a white sauce of the flour, fat, milk and seasonings.
3. Pour sauce over turnips and serve.
