Ingredients for Truffle Sauce Recipe
- 4 truffles, cleaned and peeled
- 1/2 pint good brown sauce
- 1 glass sherry
- 1 tablespoon strained lemon juice, if desired

Instructions
- Cut the truffles into 1/4 inch squares.
- Put them into a stewpan with the brown sauce and stir over a gentle fire for ten minutes.
- Add sherry, and, if liked, strained lemon juice.
- Boil for 10 minutes.
- Sufficient for four or five persons.
