Ingredients for Trout (brook) Stuffed With Anchovies
- 4 brook trout
- ½ cup anchovies, chopped
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup water
- Seasonings to taste

Instructions
- Cut open the trout on the under side.
- Mix anchovies with the butter, and with a fork work into the mixture the bread crumbs.
- Stuff trout with the bread crumb mixture.
- Press each trout into original shape.
- Put trout in a baking pan.
- Season, add the water, and bake in moderate oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Then serve.
