Ingredients for Trout (brook) Baked In Mashed Potatoes
- 4 brook trout
- 8 potatoes, peeled, quartered
- Seasonings to taste

Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in a very little salted water for about 20 minutes.
- Drain off water.
- Mash with a potato masher and season.
- Put brook trout in a baking pan.
- Cover each trout with the mashed potato.
- Shape with a knife into small loaf forms.
- Bake in moderate oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Then serve.
- The trout should be served in their covering of potatoes.
