Ingredients for Tomatoes Stuffed With Chicken Livers Recipe

  • 6 tomatoes
  • 6 chicken livers
  • ½ tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon minced parsley
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ grated onion

Instructions

  1. Cut off the top of tomatoes, remove the inside with a spoon.
  2. Boil livers in water until done.
  3. Chop up bread and livers and mix. Then add salt, pepper, onion, parsley, butter and nutmeg.
  4. Fry in oil and put back in tomato shells.
  5. Top with bread crumbs and bake 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
