Ingredients for Tomatoes And Celery, Baked
- 4 large tomatoes, whole
- ½ stalk celery, washed, peeled, cut in small pieces
- 3 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup water
- Seasonings to taste

Instructions
- Baked Recipe, Place the whole tomatoes in a baking dish with the water and the butter and put in a moderate oven.
- Bake slowly to prevent cracks in the tomato skins for about 20 minutes.
- While the tomatoes are baking, boil the celery in salted water for about 15 minutes.
- Drain off water.
- Arrange the celery in the baking dish around the tomatoes, add seasonings, and finish baking along with the tomatoes, about 5 to 6 minutes.
- Then serve.
