Ingredients for Tomato Pudding Recipe 1

  • 6 tomatoes, cut in halves
  • 4 eggs
  • 1½ cups milk, scalded
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Pour the milk slowly onto the eggs and beat well.
  2. Add the bread crumbs and seasonings.
  3. Place the sliced tomatoes in a pudding dish.
  4. Pour over them the milk, eggs and bread crumb mixture.
  5. Bake in moderate oven for about 25 minutes.
  6. Then serve.
