Tomato En Surprise Recipe

Instructions

1. Scald and peel a tomato.
2. Cut off a liberal slice from the blossom end, which must be kept for covering.
3. Hollow out the center of the tomato and turn upside down in a dish to drain.
4. Cut cooked asparagus tips into 1/2 inch lengths, season with mayonnaise, and refill the cavity in the tomato.
5. Cover with the slice of tomato, and serve on a lettuce leaf.
