Tomato Cream Soup Recipe 3

Ingredients for Tomato Cream Soup--no. 2 Recipe
- 1 quart of tomatoes
- Pinch of soda
- 1 teaspoon onion juice
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- 1 pint of milk
- Salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Stew tomatoes until soft and then rub them through a colander.
- Add soda and onion juice and return to the heat.
- Put butter and flour in another saucepan and cook until they bubble. Then pour a pint of milk upon them.
- When the milk thickens, add the tomatoes.
- Season with salt and pepper, and just before serving add a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.
