Ingredients for Tea Custard Pudding Recipe

  • 5 teaspoons tea leaves
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • ½ cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Boil the water and pour over the tealeaves.
  2. Cover and let stand for about 6 minutes.
  3. Drain.
  4. Mix tea with sugar and eggs.
  5. Add slowly the scalded milk.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Pour mixture into a pudding dish.
  8. Set pudding dish in a pan of water.
  9. Bake in moderate oven for about 40 minutes.
  10. Then serve.
